Torta Fritta

Apart from a lot of DIY my dad has been very busy cooking! This is a typical dish from the Emilia Romagna region in Italy. It’s fried pizza dough that you eat with cold meats & cheese.
And it’s bloody delicious
500gr strong flour
1 sachet dried yeast
1 teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons spoons oil
150 ml water
150 ml milk
We made the dough in the bread maker
Then you roll it in the pasta maker (or with a rolling pin) and cut it in to small rectangle pieces
Fry in vegetable oil for few seconds until they puff up.
Eat warm with whatever antipasti meats/ cheeses/ olives you like
It really doesn’t take that long and it’s perfect if you have friends over.
Buon appetito
